21count ("us", "we", or "our") operates the https://www.21count.com website and the 21count mobile application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

How to delete your data

You can permanently delete your account and everything attached to it at any time. There are three ways to do it:

Delete it yourself. Sign in and go to 21count.com/delete_my_data, follow the link to your account page, type DELETE to confirm, and your account and all associated data are removed immediately and permanently.
Ask us. Email info@21count.com with the subject "Data deletion request", from the email address on your account or telling us which Facebook or Google account you used. You can also use our contact form. We will delete your data within 30 days. You do not need to give a reason.
Remove the app from Facebook. If you signed in with Facebook, go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, find 21count and choose Remove. Facebook notifies us and we delete your data automatically.

Deleting removes your account record, your saved game statistics and level, your play-money chip balance and game history, your card counting trainer history and personal bests, and any rewards. You are signed out on every device. Nothing is kept in a disabled or archived state. Encrypted backups may hold a copy for up to 30 days before rolling over, after which no copy remains. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Full instructions and the delete button are here.

Information Collection And Use

We collect different types of information to provide and improve the Service, including:

Account Data: If you create an account or sign in with Facebook or Google, we store your first and last name, email address, profile picture URL, and the identifier supplied by Facebook or Google. Passwords for accounts created directly with us are stored only as a one-way hash and are never readable by us.
Training Data: Your blackjack game statistics, level, and card counting trainer session history and personal bests.
Game Data: Your play-money chip balance (chips have no cash value and cannot be bought or withdrawn) and your game history: the hands you play, your bets and their results. If you are signed in, this is stored with your account. If you play without an account, it is stored on our servers against a random identifier kept in the 21c_guest cookie, which is not linked to your name or email address. If you later create an account, your guest chips move to it. Other trainer progress made while signed out is kept only in your own browser.
Usage Data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and diagnostic data.

Data Retention

We keep your account, training and game data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, it is removed immediately as described above. If you have never created an account, we hold no record of your name or email address: your guest chip balance and game history are linked only to the random identifier in your 21c_guest cookie, and anything else the trainers saved lives only in your browser. Clearing your cookies disconnects you from that guest data.

Your Rights

Whatever your location, you may ask us to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct anything inaccurate.
Delete your data — see How to delete your data above.
Export a copy of your data in a portable format.
Object to or restrict how we use it.

Email info@21count.com for any of these. We respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Tracking & Cookies Data

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to monitor activity and improve the Service. You may refuse cookies, but some features may not function properly. The cookies we set are:

21count — your sign-in session. Required to stay signed in.
csrf_token — a security token that protects forms against cross-site request forgery. Required.
21c_guest — a random identifier, kept for 1 year, that holds your play-money chip balance and game history when you play without an account. It contains no personal details.
user_id — remembers which account was last used on this device.
Third-party cookies — set by Google Analytics, Google AdSense, Microsoft Clarity, Facebook and Google Sign-In. See "Service Providers" below.

Use of Data

21count uses collected data to:

Provide and maintain the Service
Notify you of changes
Allow interactive features
Send the account emails you ask for, such as password-reset links and email address confirmation
Provide customer support
Analyze usage and improve the Service
Detect, prevent, and address issues

Transfer Of Data

Your information may be transferred to and maintained on computers outside your region. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers.

Disclosure Of Data

We may disclose Personal Data when required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of 21count, our users, or the public.

Security Of Data

We use commercially acceptable means to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.

Service Providers

We use the following third parties. Each has its own privacy policy governing what it collects:

Facebook Login (Meta) — optional sign-in. Receives your name, email and profile picture with your permission. Meta Privacy Policy
Google Sign-In — optional sign-in, same data. Google Privacy Policy
Google Analytics — traffic and usage measurement, loaded through Google Tag Manager after the page has finished loading. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.

Deleting your 21count account removes the data we hold. It does not delete data held independently by these providers — use the links above to manage that with them directly.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to track and analyze traffic. Google Analytics is loaded through Google Tag Manager after the page has loaded. For details, visit Google Privacy & Terms.

Links To Other Sites

Our Service may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices or content.

Children's Privacy

The Service is designed for educational purposes and may be used by visitors under 18, with parental or guardian supervision recommended. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe your child has provided Personal Data without consent, please contact us so we can remove it.

Changes To This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
